Oxford Conference of Corsetry
A two day residential conference for corset makers and enthusiasts which takes place each year in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of Jesus College Oxford. Many imitations are springing up however, in our third year, OCOC is now established as a world class event. The original and the best!
OCOC15 will take place from 29-30 August 2015. There will be advanced corset making workshops by Ian Frazer Wallace of the Whitechapel Workhouse, and Barbara Pesendorfer of Royal Black Corsetry and Couture along with other corsetry workshops on patterning and fitting by Julia Bremble and Alison Campbell. Business and SEO will be discussed with Fiona Pullen of The Sewing Directory and there will be the usual shooting day on Sunday with 6 well known models and 3 talented photographers.
The whole weekend is focussed on networking, friendship and sharing and alongside all of the above we have an embellishment bar, a fabric swap shop, corset clinic, modern corsetry exhibition, antique corsetry show and tell, and you'll be able to show and tell your own work!
On the Saturday night there is an Oxford style drinks reception followed by Gala dinner with very very special guest, soon to be announced.
The residential price for 2015 is £650 per delegate and this includes venue hire, all meals and refreshments during the event, Oxford style drinks reception, accommodation on the Saturday night and also all workshops and talks.
